Fertilizer Plus is a locally owned and operated family business. We began fertilizing in 1985, under the name of our parent company Nihranz Landscaping Inc., which has been in the lawn care industry since 1978. The name Fertilizer Plus was adopted in 1992. As a family business, Fertilizer Plus has strived to maintain a high level of quality and satisfaction. We offer a full line of lawn spraying services from single applications to full season  programs. Other services include insect control, disease control, and core aeration. The size and nature of our company allows us to design a program that is both safe and beneficial for the customer. Due to recent research, Fertilizer Plus has became a leader by eliminating most applications of products containing phosphorus, which can contaminate groundwater, and promotes weed and algae growth in Michigan waterways. Because Michigan soils tend to contain high levels of naturally occurring phosphorus, eliminating it from our programs allows us to help the environment, while keeping a high standard of customer satisfaction.
